hmmm..my first date idea with the lovely lady would be a walk on the beach(nice place to talk) then dinner,maybe a movie and to a place that serves dessert.
Lets grab some beer a cooler some food i can cook you on the grill and head to the lake catfishing under the stars on a warm beautiful summer night and get to know each other.

dates are something that all depends on the person, attitude, and intensions of both individuals. i say lets make any date personal and complimentary to our common goals, while we laugh and smile and have a great time.
Just go out to eat and go for a walk on the beach or thru a park and talk then go home and cuddle or get to that business, as long as i have a smile on ya pretty face no matter wat we do it doesnt matter :)
We go somewhere, we'd be able to laugh and enjoy ourselves. Most likely to a movie thats a comedy just to keep it traditional. Then from there we'd do what she would like to do.
