I enjoy art and so I think the best way to get to know someone is to see how they react to a piece of art. I'm happy to go to the nearest art gallery On a first date it would be a great way to break the ice and see if there are similar tastes :) or a great sense of humor ;) after that we could play up our sophistication by hitting a Starbuck's for a white chocolate steamer and some good pasteries... sure you get stuff too i won't think anything less of you if you stuff your face just this once ;) LOL

Lunch in Hyde Park, go visit the museum or an art gallery, walk round the botanic gardens eating ice cream and watching the harbour.

Best date is definitely taking in an art gallery or going on a walk so I can converse with the person and talk about interesting things rather than being crammed in a dark theatre or watching somebody eat
Let's kick it slowly in one wing on the Metropolitan, and walkt through Central Park right behind it.
